Youth Conference 2009

Here is the latest Youth Comference T-shirt design for about 250 youth and leaders. The youth and adults will spend 3 days in doing service to people in need in our own town. I hope the shirt reflects that.

Pinup

This is the result of more self training using Adobe Illustrator's Gradient Mesh Tool. I think it turned out rather well.

Midlife Crisis

Here is a logo created for a band, Midlife Crisis that does oldies and originals. I now play bass guitar for them and having lots of fun.

Roil Girl

This girl is supposed to be a cross between Rosie the Riviter and a pin-up. It was done for a new engine product for the company I work for. I learned a new way of illustrating using Adobe Illustrator's Gradient Tool. I included the wire as I think it is very cool. I'll be doing more of these.

The GYM

This is a logo I created for a local gym in Payson where I live. It was fun to come up with the stylized figures and then their out of shape shadows.

Bax Rider

I had a small break between building and animating the car engine (see Roil below) and my next project. So I colorized this drawing from my sketch book.

Roil

Roil is a fuel additive that Neways is Launching this year. It cleans your engine and helps it run better. Animations were the best way to show how this product works. Here are a few images from the animations I created.

The Crater

The Crater is a logo done for The Homestead. A resort in Midway, Utah. The Homestead has a natural crater filled with water that is about 90 degrees year round. It is open for swiming and scuba diving. The logo will be used on a viriety of items. All the proceeds of the sales of these items will go to help the HOPE projects. the Hope Projects are a humanitarian effort to bring help to poor peoples of the high Andes of South America.
Thanks to Kevin, my son who helped on this logo as well.

Princess

This is an illustration I have been working on in my spare time. It used an old drawing as inspiration. I am quite happy with the final product.

Bamboo Hut Posters 2

Here are the final images for the Bamboo Hut posters. The art director wanted them to look nostalgic, textured and faded. They are going to be reproduced in a large format to be installed in a new Salt Lake Location opening this month. I'm still not sure if I like this version or the original better.
