Boo Run

Every year the company I work for sponsors a fun run. A t-shirt is handed out to all particapants. Everyone in the Creative Services department has the opportunity to submit an idea for the t-shirt. Here are my ideas.

Fire Dragon

I seem to have a fondness for animal designs and especially these bird/dragon ones. Here is one I created as a car hood graphic simular to the one you find on Trans Am's.

Scottish Athlete

For the past 4 years I've created a t-shirt illustration for the athletic event which is part of the Payson Scottish Festival held every summer in Payson, Utah. The Utah Caber Championships are also held here. So I decided to create two Celtic Knotted Caber Tossing Athletes facing off. It was a challenge but worth the effort.

Surf School

I took a vacation to Hawaii (first time) and took surfing lessons from Sunset Suzy. I fell in love with surfing and decided to create some t-shirt art. I don't know if she'll use it, but I had fun creating it.

Luau Poster

I had the unique opportunity of revisiting a poster I'd done a few year ago. This is for a company party. I wanted to make the girl more native looking. I also worked on her hands. I am much happier with her.

Koi Fish Legend

In Japan there is a legend about thousands of fish that swim upstream to climb the falls at a point called Dragon Gate on the Yellow River. Only one in many years has the dedication to make the leap and be transformed into a dragon.
I created this illustration for the Un-limbed-ited Amputee Camp.
Most illustrations are very Japaneese. I deciede to use a Celtic Knot to intertwine the fish and dragon.

Voltaire 7

This is an album cover that I've had done for a while. The name of the group is still up in the air and I decided to post it with the current name. Thanks for my son Kevin in helping me tweak the colors. Here is the Voltaire 7 myspace site.

Rose 30

Sometimes the simplist things are the most beautiful. I created this rose in Illustrator in about an hour. I really love the way it turned out. It is for my 30th wedding anniversary.
